We started this site because of the difficulty we often encountered in trying to find cool and imaginative gifts for our friends and family without straining our budget. After spending one holiday season too many rushing around in vain from one national retailer after another, we realized that there must be others like us who would probably appreciate a better shopping alternative.
So after a long and extensive - but admittedly fun - search, we assembled a collection of our favorite items. From novelties and toys to jewelry and kitchenware, our site features a wide variety of items that have been handpicked for their wonderful style, sense of humor, and affordability. In seeking out the unique and unusual, it's no surprise that many of the items we feature are made by independent artists.
